Why books?

As a kid I hated reading. I was forced to do it and I was a rebel. I avoided reading as much as possible. It wasn't until fifth grade that I understood why people read books for fun. It is such an escape and there is nothing more wonderful than getting lost in a book. I read a lot of great books and the worst thing for me is having no one to share that book with.
