Keone & Mari

     I'm pretty sure I've written about Keone and Mari Madrid before on the blog, but I was just randomly thinking about them today and starting watching some of their videos on YouTube and fell in love with them all over again. What I love about Keone and Mari is that they're both super talented dancers with so much artistic talent and they're an adorable couple, but they're also just very humble, real, genuine people. Their story is super beautiful, too. When they met Keone was a devout Christian and Mari was an atheist very opposed to Christianity because of bad experiences with Christians/Christianity as a girl growing up, but through God's grace, Keone's patience, and Mari's open heart, she started going to church with Keone and had this epiphany one day during service. This overwhelming desire to create just flooded her and after that she started listening to different sermons, reading books on Christianity, and reading the bible and two months later she accepted Jesus. They've been happily married for almost five years now.
     I love how they choreograph their own dances and how each dance is always so unique and full of emotion. You can tell by watching them that it's really a passion for them. I just love passionate people. They're a little rare to come by, so when you do find them it's easy to be entranced. Anyway, here a two of their videos that I particularly liked. The second one is good for Lent because it reminds me of Jesus being tempted in the desert. It's just so visually and emotionally and artistically beautiful. I love it. Both of them. Makes me want to dance...
