12 Dates of Christmas

It's been a fun day today. Yesterday Melissa left to go to Colombia (where her family is from) for two weeks, so today it was just Haley and me and we decided to go to Reading Terminal Market for lunch. Haley had never been and she said that when she walked in and saw all the food she almost started crying. I felt the same way, and I've been before. It's overwhelming in the best possible way. If you're ever in Philly, please do yourself a favor and stop by Reading Terminal Market. You will not regret it.
Anyway, we wandered around for a while, checking out all the options, before deciding on what we wanted for lunch. I decided to get a grilled cheese with brie cheese, cranberry spread, caramelized onions, and pine nuts from this gourmet grilled cheese place (I know it sounds gross but it was SOOO good, you have no idea) and Haley got pasta and chicken parmesan from an Italian place. After lunch we looked at the desserts but decided to first go check out the Christmas village and shops set up around Dilworth Park and City Hall. After admiring the cute shops and lights and Christmas trees, we walked back to the market and bought dessert. I got a peppermint brownie and Haley got a lemoncello cake thing.
After we got back to campus, we both hung out in our respective dorms doing nothing for a few hours before Haley came over to my dorm and we ate dinner and watched 12 Dates of Christmas, a cheesy, Holiday rom com version of Groundhog Day. I'd do it all again tomorrow.
