Hello, Summer Break
10 AM:
So this is the first day of summer. It involves me lying on the couch in my Kermit the Frog pajamas staring blankly out the window, wondering what the heck I'm going to do with my life.
12:30 PM:
It's funny how you spend all year looking forward to something and then when you have it you don't want it anymore. It's finally summer and I'd rather be in school tie dying or sitting on the patio eating lunch or playing cards than sitting around my house, bored out of my mind because it turns out I don't have any hobbies. Sigh.
2 PM:
Read a book. Geez it's the first day of summer. Don't be bored.

I have a perfectly reasonable reason why this is being posted after midnight again...that reason being that I took AB's advice and was lying in bed reading a book when I decided to close my eyes and take a little nap (mind you, this was 11 pm). An hour later, I woke up drenched in sweat (this was entirely my fault for falling asleep under a fuzzy blanket when it's 90 million degrees outside) so then I was so grossed out by my own grossness that I had to take a shower and here I am at 12:03 AM...
You are so very welcome for that enriching, enthralling all-day blog post. I'm sure you can't wait for more. Don't worry...we have alllllll summer. :)
