It's Not What, But Who

Today was fun. I walked down to Leitersburg Park and was going to stop for a bit and hang out but there were a bunch of guys working on renovations to the fire hall, so I turned back around and went home and then headed over to MF's house, where MF, DL, AB, and I decided to go to Walmart on the spur of the moment because we had nothing better to do and DL and MF insisted that it's become some kind of cute guy mecca but it was pretty dry so we just rode on the little kid bikes and AB bought some weird chocolate covered potato chips and then we ordered some pizza in the parking lot and hung out at Lowe's and stole some paint samples and then picked up the pizza and went back to MF's house and watched Cinderella (by watched I mean made fun of the entire time and took random intermissions to talk over the TV about completely irrelevant things). I'd never realized quite how...ridiculous...Cinderella is until this movie, but it's pretty far-fetched as far as fairy tales go. Apparently Prince Charming can't recognize the love of his life by her face, but by her shoe size? And no other woman in the whole kingdom has the same shoe size? And Cinderella can't tell him her name real quick before the clock strikes midnight? But it was entertaining nonetheless (despite being an insult to feminism. Come on now, women are just supposed to be kind all the time??? To quote DL, sometimes you gotta stand up to "dees b*tches"). Then we had a dance intermission and played Bounce Off which is the best game ever. And then we just kind of laid on the floor and talked and then we left and it was really foggy and hard to see. The end.
Looking back, I realize that today would have probably been a kind of lame day to cooler people than myself, but I don't care. It's not about what you do but who you do it with. And I can't think of a better way to spend the afternoon than with three of my favorite people. :)
