Cunningham Falls!

     Today DL, MF, AP and I went to Cunningham Falls for the day and it was a blast. I feel like any day spent almost entirely outside has to be a good day. We hiked up to the falls (the difficult way, at AP and MF's insistence) and spent some time chilling by the water before heading down to the lake where we blew up MF's blue whale, Finn Rider, and scouted attractive members of the male population. Then we packed up our stuff and headed to the car just in time for it to start raining and have everyone be forced to get out of the water. We waited the rain out in the car and it blew over within 10 or 15 minutes and by then almost everyone had left so we had pretty much the entire lake area to ourselves for our cookout/picnic dinner which was super delicious, complete with corn on the cob, watermelon, mango, hot dogs, veggie dogs, burgers, cookies, and chips. I even got to use my JustInCase bag in my car for the shovel that we used to dump the hot coals in the Hot Coals pit. Woop woop. It was a fun day and I hope to be able to do it again sometime. Maybe it can become a tradition of sorts.
