Dear Sophomore Me

Dear Sophomore Me,

You know that feeling you are experiencing? That slight, annoying confusion and stress due to your forty five minutes worth of homework? Remember that feeling and relish in it, because that's as good as it's going to get. I have some advice for you that you really should take, so listen up. First of all, don't ever take your happiness for granted. Try to remember every happy moment and good thing that is happening to you because it will be a while until happy good things start happening to you again. Actually, be prepared for an indefinite amount of unhappiness, because I can't tell you for sure when it will end. Also, when you're scheduling your classes for next year, please go back and take more time to genuinely evaluate your math skills and ambitions in the math field. Because it's really not worth it to cause yourself so much stress and anger over something you hate. It would also be a good idea to start practicing time management right now so that you're not struggling with it later when it becomes a necessity. Lastly, you should just go ahead and say goodbye to all of your friends right now because it will be a very long time before you'll actually get to hang out with them one on one outside the confines of school. Say goodbye to your hobbies, interests, and good feelings too because they'll all be put in the shelf for roughly ten months. And then just cross your fingers and pray that you remember those things when the time finally does come to reclaim them.
            Love,
                Miserable Junior Me
