You Don't Have To Try...

The more I find beauty empowerment videos the more happy I get. This morning I saw an ad for The Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie. I still am wondering why that book was made into a movie. It's no secret that I don't like that book. I even tried to read it, needless to say I didn't get very far. That book is a perfect example of what society sees in women today. I mean it is freaking every where. I just want to get it tattooed on my face that if it involves Fifty Shades Of Grey I want nothing to do with it. I will be honest I almost watched the trailer. Then I thought to myself why would I watch something I know i'm going to hate? There's no point in it.I guess I'll just have to block the movie page on Twitter and Facebook and ignore it the best way that I can. I know what you are probably thinking.
"Why are you even talking about something you don't like?" or "Why are you hating on it?" I think we should be allowed to talk about the things that annoy us otherwise we would go insane. My opinion is that the book is porn. I was talking to one of my friends about this and this was their response.
"What's wrong with porn?"
My jaw just dropped. First off it ruins relationships and marriages. It invades our minds and takes over our thoughts. It creates an unrealistic belief of what sex is. Did you know the majority of people who watch porn is women. It's a fantasy of being beautiful and loved until you turn the computer off. People believe it to be love when really it's just disgusting. My Mom was thinking about reading Fifty Shades Of Grey because my Aunt gave her a copy of the book. It took a while but I convinces her not too.
"Would you want me to read that book?"
"No."
"Then why would you read it?"
A lot of people believe that their is a cut off between adults and teenagers. There are things that adults can do but teenagers can't. If teens can't do it why would adults be able to do it? There has to be a certain reason.

 I applaud Dove and Pantene for taking a stand in telling woman that they are beautiful and can do anything they set their mind too.
Here's what I have to say to all the girls in the world.

1. You don't have to wear makeup, ever. I have found that makeup is a big waste of money and time. It amazes me how many women wear it simply because they 'have to' or 'need to'. The average woman spends 15,000 dollars on cosmetic products in their life time.
2. Buy the shirt because 'you' like it, have you ever bought something because you cared about what people will think. If you like the outfit buy it. 
3. Don't settle for what you don't want, If you aren't comfortable doing something than don't do it. This often happens in relationships. Girls will date guys and it turns out that they aren't who they thought they were. 
4. Just do what you love and people will see that. Smile and be the beautiful person that you are.
